Programme Officer Regenerative Landscapes and Agriculture – Sub Programme
The Oak Foundation is looking for a Programme Officer Regenerative Landscapes and Agriculture to work closely with the President, Trustee and Environment Programme Director to develop and implement the Oak Foundation´s first Regenerative Landscapes and Agriculture grant-making strategy.
The strategy will have a focus on regenerative agriculture as well as people-centred conservation and restoration of natural ecosystems and protected areas. The post holder will be responsible for designing and developing the first set of grants for the 2023 funding cycle with an initial portfolio allocation of USD 2.5 M and a planned progression of 20 per cent per annum in subsequent years.
They are seeking an individual with 7 to 10 years’ experience in designing community-based natural resources management, regenerative land management, sustainable agriculture, conservation/adaptation, or development projects. This will be coupled with experience working in diverse regions, especially Africa and South America. This role is based in Oak Foundation´s London office, with a starting salary of £50,000 and attractive benefits.
