ADMISSION

Requirements

  • ITALIAN STUDENTS holding a Laurea Triennale

  • INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS holding at least 3 years of academic studies (Bachelor Degree)

GOOD TO KNOW

Working knowledge of the English language is a must. A language certificate is not required since the English level will be tested during the admission interview. Knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus.

Applications from young female candidates from developing countries are strongly encouraged.

No restriction is made on the field of study. All degrees are welcome!

BEFORE STARTING YOUR APPLICATION
make sure you have the following documents:
  • APPLICATION FORM – find it here (if you are applying for a scholarship, remember to specify it in the form)
  • copy of passport (for EU students, a copy of ID)
  • copy of the last university degree 
  • transcript of academic records
  • reference letter (max 2)
  • motivation letter (maximum 300 words!!)
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV):  highlighting all the training and professional experiences 
  • for those applying for a scholarship: a copy of the ISEE declaration (for Italians) or a copy of the family income statement (for foreigners) related to the previous year – See more information about that in the Application form
  • Payment of the application fee (35,00 euro), is mandatory

ONLY FOR APPLICANTS WITH A FOREIGN ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION: 

  • Declaration of value (DoV) issued by the Italian Embassy/Consulate in the state where the academic title has been issued (this document is not compulsory at the enrollment stage but, in any case, the DoV must be submitted to the master secretariat by December 2024). The student has to apply for the DoV to the Italian consular authority after having received confirmation of acceptance from the Master secretariat.

As an alternative to the “Declaration of Value”, the University recognizes the following documents as valid:

  • Diploma supplement (only if the admission qualification to the course is issued by a European University);
  • Certificate of comparability issued by Naric /Cimea.

How to apply

Candidates who wish to be considered for admission to the course must submit the application form online by the deadline set out in the attachment to this call, using only the specific procedure made available in the RESERVED AREA.

Online application is in three stages:
  1. REGISTRATION: access the RESERVED AREA and, from the MENU at the upper right corner, click on the REGISTER tab and fill in the required information. At the end of the data entry, candidates are provided with a USERNAME and PASSWORD. These should be kept with care as they will be needed in the next stages of the process. Candidates who have already been enrolled at the University of Pavia will directly execute the LOGIN from the MENU in the upper right corner and will proceed with point 2.
  1. APPLICATION: access the RESERVED AREA using the USERNAME and PASSWORD previously assigned, LOGIN and click on the SECRETARY tab. Then select ADMISSION TEST, click on CALL FOR ADMISSION ENROLMENT, and select the required course. (If the SECRETARY link does not appear, click on ‘Choose a career option”, on one of the courses that appear and resume the procedure).
    Upload the following documentation:
  • scan (front-rear) of the identity document used during registration 
  • all the documents previously mentioned
  1. PAYMENT: pay € 35.00 to cover the ‘Master’s application fee‘, within the deadline. The payment is to be made by PagoPA online payment system, which allows immediate visibility of the credit.

BEAR IN MIND!

* No changes may be made once the information has been confirmed and sent electronically
* Once the application is completed a PDF is generated so the candidate can view/download it to verify the correct data entry. The candidate will also receive confirmation of registration by email to the personal address submitted on the Reserved Area
* The paid contribution will not be refunded in any circumstances

* Candidates will be excluded if the application is sent without, in whole or in part, the required documentation
* Candidates will be excluded if they don’t meet the admission requirements

International applicants residing abroad must respect the Regulations for foreign students’ access to university courses.
If the candidates are VISA applicants, they must complete the registration on the Universitaly portal by writing to the Master Secretary cdn@unipv.it 



HOW TO HANDLE WITH THE APPLICATION FEE
(35,00 €):
  • foreign applicants who are paying from outside the EU are required to pay ONLY through CREDIT CARD on PagoPA (please follow the instructions on your reserved area under “payment PagoPA – charges billed“).
  • Italian applicants must pay through PagoPa or through the MAV (you can download the MAV directly from the online application).

Incomplete applications will not be accepted. 

In case of a negative response or withdrawal of your application, the application fee (35,00 euro) will not be reimbursed.


 
GOOD TO KNOW ABOUT THE SELECTION PROCEDURES

A pre-selection will be made on the basis of academic career, professional and studying experiences, and knowledge of the English language. Afterward, if your CV is considered, you will be invited for an interview to assess your motivation and knowledge of the English language. Interviews for pre-selected foreign applicants will be held by ZOOM call, while pre-selected Italian students will be invited for an interview in Pavia during the month of July. The final results will be communicated by the end of July each year.

Tuition fee

The cost of enrolment is . 8.000,00

Fees include:

  • Attendance to regular program classes and seminars
  • Tutorship internship & vocational guidance
  • Selected teaching material
  • Free access to rooms and libraries

Fees have to be paid according to the following rules:

  • the first installment of 3.000,00 euro at the enrollment stage 
  • the second installment of 2.500,00 euro by January 
  • is the third installment of 2.500,00 euro by February

Other administrative costs: 

  • € 35,00 for the application. The amount is nonrefundable in case of rejection of the admission 
  • € 116,00 for the Final Diploma Certificate (Pergamena/Wall Diploma)
GOOD TO KNOW!
  • Fees already paid will not be reimbursed in case of withdrawal from the course
  • Non-EU students are required to apply for the residence permit and the Italian health insurance. The fees are borne exclusively by the students and are in addition to the above-mentioned costs
